LIVABLE LUXURY

In this complete apartment renovation, we combined multiple units to create a sanctuary for a growing family above the canopy of Central Park. Here, ribbed walnut paneling connects the kitchen space to a light-filled breakfast nook, and adds warmth and texture to both, while the marble of the wall, counter, and floating bar lends a classic grandeur.

GORGEOUS TO LOOK AT - AND THROUGH

This custom-designed double-height screen, made with powder-coated steel columns that appear to twist, creates a swooping pattern that optimizes views from any position in the apartment. Gold and white paint on alternate sides of the screen enhances the illusion of the twisting metal — and manages to connect the lower and upper floors without sacrificing sightlines.
