Central Park South Villa
A gut renovation of a duplex fronting Central Park, with multifunctional architectural interventions that radically disguise storage and entertaining infrastructure — including a museum worthy spiraling staircase and a family room that transforms into an event space.
STRUCTURAL STAIR
It’s more than layout and use of space. Superior materials, textural richness, and precise detailing are the hallmarks of our luxury residential design. In this case, we use a repeated motif of vertical brass to pull individual custom elements into a harmonious whole.
MUSEUM PEACE
An art collection comes alive in dialogue with exquisitely detailed millwork pieces that integrate art and display lighting, speakers, and hidden storage spaces. Throughout the apartment, the tight material palette of antiqued bronze, white oak, and white walls, set off the decorative tile, textured wallpaper, and sculptural furniture focal points.
CHANGEABLE SPACE
Sliding panels and hidden doors mask television sets and catering appliances to create multiple experiences of the grand lounge, formal dining, and seating areas. We designed these spaces for maximum flexibility: the ability to modulate between family life and entertainment backdrop to support both everyday needs and special events.
